General Terms of Use
7.4 Cancellation Policy
If a participant cancels their registration for a course, the following conditions apply:
1. Cancellation within the Legal Withdrawal period
Participants have a legal right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) calendar days of signing the contract or quotation.
- In this case, a full refund (100%) will be granted.
2. Cancellation after the legal withdrawal period
a. More than 31 Days Before the Course Start Date
Any cancellation made after the 14-day withdrawal period and more than thirty-one (31) calendar days before the start of the course will result in cancellation fees equal to 75% of the total course fee.
- These fees will be deducted from any amount already paid by the participant. If no payment has yet been made, the amount will be invoiced.
b. Within 31 Days Before the Course Start Date
No cancellations will be accepted within thirty-one (31) calendar days before the course start date.
- In such cases, Sound Academy reserves the right to collect the full course fee, in accordance with this agreement.
- The organization may initiate debt collection procedures using bailiffs, collection agencies, or legal mechanisms (e.g., wage garnishment, bank account seizure, asset seizure).
3. Non-refundable situations
No refund will be granted in the following cases:
- The participant is unable to complete payment due to insufficient funds.
- The participant moves to a different city.
- The participant expresses dissatisfaction with the course content or quality.
- The training session is rescheduled by Sound Academy: the participant acknowledges that schedule adjustments may be necessary for operational reasons and agrees not to request a refund on this basis.
4. Acknowledgment of program adjustments
The participant understands and accepts that the training program is subject to change based on the availability of instructors and studios.
- Any discrepancies between the program as described during the sales process and the actual content delivered shall not be considered a breach of contract and will not justify a refund or financial claim.
5. Exceptional refund conditions
Refunds may be granted in the following exceptional circumstances:
a. Valid Justification: An exceptional and documented situation that prevents the participant from attending, such as:
- Serious illness or the death of a close relative.
- A medical certificate or hospital email sent from a verifiable professional address must be provided.
- In case of death, a death certificate must be submitted via email or in person.
b. Inability of Sound Academy to Deliver the Course:
- If Sound Academy is unable to deliver the course within 12 months of the contract and quotation being signed.
c. Force Majeure:
- An unforeseeable, unavoidable, and external event that prevents either the participant or Sound Academy from fulfilling their contractual obligations (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions).
- Refund timeline
Where applicable, approved refunds will be processed within one hundred eighty (180) business days from the date the cancellation request is received.
The following purchases are non-refundable unless required by law:

If you're not the applicant, reply [Opt-out] to this message. [Name of Admission Officer] – Sound Academy Admission Department." - Message Frequency: Messages may be sent daily depending on the stage of your application or enrollment process.
